POSTPONED TO NOVEMBER 2025 BECAUSE OF ILLNESS

This “Sideshow of Folly” is the story of one performer’s quest for laughs in the traveling world of small circuses known affectionately as “mud shows.” In 1976, Jim Jackson decided to join a circus as a clown, juggler, and acrobat. Forty-nine years later, he brings the stories and comedy routines that fueled his internationally acclaimed vocation as an eccentric, funny man. He combines poetry, video, red noses, and buffoonery into a bittersweet montage of a clown's life. For mature audiences only

The Bluebird

March 22- April 7, 2024 at the Savoy Denver

Created and Performed by Buba Basishvili

Take flight with The Bluebird, a bittersweet journey of dreams and dreamers which invites audiences to engage with themes of identity, exclusion, and resilience. The production is inspired by Charles Bukowski's evocative poem The Bluebird, Basishvili's own immigration story, and the experiences of countless others who have left their homes for other lands.

“There’s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out,” opens the first line of  Bukowski’s poem, “…I only let him out at night sometimes, when everybody’s asleep.”
