TEA TIME

 Written and performed by Buba Basishvili and Yan Christian Collazo

Tea Time is a sublime, absurdist comedy that explores power, submission, and the folly of hope; Laurel and Hardy meet George Orwell’s 1984.  Buba Basishvili (Republic of Georgia) and Yan Christian Collazo (Puerto Rico) collaborated to create Tea Time, finding a common theme in their experiences of occupation in their countries.

TEA TIME has been performed at the Mad River Festival (Blue Lake, CA), CSSSA School of the Arts, and at the Historic Grant Theatre in Denver, Co.
