MEET THE COOKS
James Brunt - Core Cook and Prof. Chuck Chuckles
James Brunt (he/him/his) is an actor born and raised in Denver, Colorado most known for pushing the boundaries of what we know about theater with immersive productions in obscure settings and hard hitting concepts that make his audience truly reflect on their views of the world. Playing roles from a cleaver wielding beet butcher to a zany detective on the hunt for answers, he loves to create anything that will make his heart beat faster and blood boil up. He received the 2019 True West award for breakout actors for his challenging portrayal of taxi driver, Bobby, in Mosque with The Black Actors Guild. Other works recognized were his productions with The Band of Toughs and Control Group Productions. When Brunt isn't taking the stage, he still finds ways to enlighten his audiences by performing original slam poetry or creating magical moments as the beloved Santa Claus. He is also an educator of the arts, teaching improv to the youth of Denver with the Black Actors Guild.
NicOLE DIETZE - Core Cook and Teacher in the Chuck Chuckles method
Nicole Dietze (she/her/hers) is an actor, mover, director, and teaching artist. RECIPE is her 16th new-work collaboration. Nicole studied community engagement with Cornerstone Theater Company in Los Angeles, serving as Movement Associate on “Ghost Town” in Venice Beach. Nicole specializes in Physical Approaches to Performance, including Suzuki and Slow Tempo. She earned her MFA in acting at the University of South Carolina and is represented in Denver by Donna Baldwin Agency
LYNDE ROSARIO - Core Cook
Lynde Rosario (she/her/hers) is Dramaturg and Literary Manager for the DCPA Theatre Company. Other affiliations include: Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, Curious Theatre Company, Athena Project, The Catamounts, Theatre Artibus, Local Theater Company, Creede Repertory Theater, Letter of Marque Theatre Company, and The Anthropologists. Memberships: Board Member and VP of Regional Activity for The Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas, and Board Member for the National New Play Network.
Mary Grace Legg - Video Chef
Mary Grace Legg (she/her/hers) is a Denver based artist specializing in video and performance. She was born in the Philippines and raised in Colorado. Mary Grace graduated with honors from Colorado College with a B.A. in Drama & minor in Asian Studies and has studied five languages (only “mastering” directions to the toilet in each). Her recent projects include producing a Community Almanac video series for Warm Cookies of the Revolution (the world’s only civic health club).

Buba (he/him/his) is a theatre maker from the Republic of Georgia and co-founder of Theatre Artibus. Buba has his MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from Dell'Arte International in California, USA and has performed, toured and taught with the Georgian State Pantomime Theatre for over 15 years. MEGHAN FRANK - CORE COOK
Meghan (she/her/hers) is a theatre maker and educator who grew up in Denver and has worked globally (Afghanistan, India, Canada, Egypt, Cuba, Azerbaijan and the Balkans). She specializes in original theatre making, physical comedy, and mask play. From 2012-14, Meghan was a faculty member at Dell'Arte International School for Physical Theatre. She is a co-founder of Theatre Artibus and a teaching artist with Mirror Image Arts.
FRANKLIN CRUZ - co-creator- WISDOM LINES
Franklin Cruz (he/they) is a queer latin dancer, poet born in Idaho, raised Texan and polished in Denver. Born from an immigrant family his work has placed him in science museums, environmental spaces, as an emcee and poet for dance & poetry competitions and conferences. He aims for specificity over simplicity, encompassing self love , conservation, immigration and culture.

Kid Astronaut (he/him/his) is a time and dimension traveling musician currently based in Denver, CO. His mission as an artist is to uplift, inspire and create a new futuristic and conscious version of reality.
lisa Engelken - co-creator- wisdom lines
Lisa (she/her/hers) is a dancer, choreographer, and producer from Denver, Colorado. She has performed with Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Visaversa Dance Buenos Aires, Gesel Mason's No Boundaries, and Rennie Harris Grassroots Project. She has also performed and trained with Alonzo King LINES summer program and the American Dance Festival. She holds a degree in Social Action through the Arts from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Elías Garcia (he/him/his) is a professional guitarist who has played countless shows across the state of Colorado. Being involved with community music organizations such as Youth on Record and Free Music For Free People, Elías has a deep passion for supporting the Denver music community in a multitude of ways.

Adrienne (she/her/hers) was last seen in the Theatre Artibus production of Recipe. She is a co-founder of 5280 Coop in Aurora. Alicia Terrelle Smith-Young (aka Lisa- she/her) is an outspoken Actor-vist, director, writer, educator and the founder of IDEAs a grassroots theatre EDIA organization based in Denver, CO. Lisa was the Grandaughter and Earnestine in Recipe at the Savoy. Brianna Angela Sanchez Sisneros (student) - the Chuck Chuckles method
Brianna’s (she/her/hers) next steps are to continue pursuing theater and acting at George Washington High School, I plan on auditioning and doing work at the Arvada Center and continue working with Lisa Young. I hope to build a name for myself. My family is a part of the Southern Ute tribe and most of the members of my family grew up in the small town of Saguache, CO, until we moved to Denver.

A native to Colorado, Fronzo D. Gilkey (he/him/his) was introduced to the arts at a young age. Through the years, his enthusiasm for acting turned into dedication, and a vessel for exploring many mediums within the craft. Fronzo is now woven into multiple outlets and communities that provide him the opportunities to express and build his talent as a writer, actor, producer, and educator.

Alex Romberg (she/her/hers) is a theatre director and founder of Bewilderness Theatre Company, working here in Colorado where she grew up. With a passion for international arts, Alex has created theatre in Bali, Barcelona, Chicago, Denver, Edinburgh, London, and Moscow. Recently Alex stage managed CoronaVox with Phamaly Theatre Company and directed a documentary about Refugees in the Arts for International Rescue Committee.

Camryn (she/her/hers) leaves irrefutable imprints where no other young songstress can tread. With her authentic musical instinct and unique tone, she announces her position as entertainment's most remarkable find. Newly enrolled in Howard University's prestigious musical theater department, and former vocal music student at both Oakland School for the Arts and Denver School for the Arts, Camryn dedicates her time to school work, music, dance and theater. She is a consummate professional when it comes to her artistic endeavors; yet, her warm spirit and lighthearted personality is magnetic to all those who come in contact with her. She is innately an entertainer; rooted in her love of performance. This vocal artist probes her talent to unleash a rare musical artistry.

Roslyn (she/her/hers) has been performing since the early 70's. She was introduced to the arts when she dropped a friend off at a Bonfils Theatre rehearsal one day and just never left! Her experience includes television, film, print, commercial, voiceover, and her true love....the stage. Roslyn has performed throughout Colorado and other states, including off Broadway.
